Most of the houses here still showcase the traditional Szekler architectural style of the Praid-Corund area. Demeter Guesthouse is located at Farkas Street No. 1 and welcomes its guests with two separate, fully equipped wooden houses.

Both houses feature their own living room, a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, and a TV. Gaál Mansion – Dalnic (Covasna County)

If, alongside the countryside charm, you also desire a touch of aristocratic elegance, Gaál Mansion in the village of Dalnic, Covasna County, is the place for you. This wonderful historical building, originally constructed in 1844, evokes the lifestyle of the old Szekler nobility. Beautifully renovated in 2014, the estate now operates as an exclusive retreat where 19th-century atmosphere perfectly meets modern comfort.

The massive 30-hectare property consists of several buildings, allowing guests to choose from three distinct types of accommodation. The main building of the mansion is a monument over 180 years old, set within a generous 25-hectare park. Beyond the careful restoration that saved the original wooden floors, this house breathes history and art in every corner. The place is closely tied to the name of Miklós Barabás, the renowned 19th-century painter who spent his childhood within these walls. Guests have the rare opportunity to live in a museum-like space where the walls are decorated to this day with original works by the master.

The ground floor of the mansion is dedicated to relaxation and socializing, offering warm common areas with fireplaces. Guests can unwind in an elegant salon furnished with period antiques, a welcoming lobby room with a TV and a play area for the little ones, or dine in a special room heated by a traditional terracotta stove. The kitchen is fully equipped, ideal for fixing yourself a coffee, tea, or refreshment at any time of day. The main entrance opens directly onto a gorgeous terrace and a rose garden, where the undisputed star is a centuries-old walnut tree—perfect for relaxing under its shade. For livelier evenings, the mansion's cellar hides a complete entertainment zone featuring a bar, a billiard table, and foosball.

A mini-wellness area has also been set up inside this building, offering a sauna, massage options, and an outdoor hot tub with warm water. For those who prefer active recreation, a football pitch that can be lit up at night is located right behind the terrace.
