2. “Ștefan Luchian” Museum in Ștefănești
The “Ștefan Luchian” Museum in Ștefănești is the only museum dedicated to the great painter and is located in the town where he was born. In 2021, it was reopened after almost 25 years of being closed due to the deterioration of the building.
The base exhibition includes pieces of visual art and sculpture from the collections of the Botoșani County Museum, shaping the exhibition titled "Artists for Luchian", but also cultural goods belonging to the painter's family, donated by the “Ștefan Luchian” Foundation, which form the "Ștefan Luchian's Studio-Room.

3. "Nicolae Iorga" Memorial House
The "Nicolae Iorga" Memorial House is a must-visit attraction in Botoșani. It is located within the Botoșani County Museum, in the city of Botoșani.
The core collection contains items of particular value: the study contains the library (first editions of the historian's work), display cases with original exhibits: photographs, letters, manuscripts, books with autograph dedications, objects of memorial value: a table clock, a Viennese ornamental vase (which belonged to his grandfather), family paintings, manuscripts belonging to his mother (Zulnia Iorga). The children's room has also been reorganized (based on memoir literature)

4. "George Enescu" Memorial House in Dorohoi
If you didn't know, the hometown of the band members of "Fără Zahăr" is also where Romania's greatest musician, George Enescu, grew up.
The museum that bears his name today was inaugurated in 1957, in the house purchased in 1910 by the composer's father, Costache Enescu.
Here, you can see objects and documents of great value related to the life and work of the great musician. Noteworthy items include: original photographs from the years he spent in Liveni and Cracalia during his childhood, photographs of his parents – Costache and Maria Enescu, original letters, personal items – the piano, several violins, and his baton, glasses, a concert suit, and concert programs – these are some of the highlights of the museum.
"A house in Moldavian style, built around 1881, where Costache Enescu, the musician's father, lived until his death in 1919, now houses the "George Enescu" Memorial Museum in Dorohoi.
Enescu often visited Dorohoi, finding it a suitable place for rest and creativity. In his workspace, which is preserved to this day, George Enescu composed the String Quartet op. 30 and Symphony No. 3", as mentioned on the Botoșani Museum website, dedicated to this section.

5. Vorona Monastery
If you are someone seeking spiritual tranquility during your holidays, then if you pass through Botoșani county, know that the Vorona Monastery, located in the village of the same name, is a place worthy of a visit.
The first small church of this ensemble was built in the 17th century by a few monks. Over time, it evolved and became a true reference point for Orthodoxy.
Until 1968, Vorona was a monastery for monks, and from 1968 it became a nunnery, with Mother Teofana Scânteie, a nun from Râşca Monastery, being appointed as the head of the community.

The most important aspect to highlight is that the 1907 Peasant Revolt, a historical event that marked the social life of Romanians before the Great Union, started here.
In addition to the Peasant Revolt Monument, you can also visit the Flămânzi Peasant Museum.
According to local authorities, the location aims to "bring back to the public's attention details about the significance of the 1907 Revolt, while at the same time attempting to reconstruct the universe of the Flămânzi peasant, with everything that entails: traditions, traditional costumes, occupations, life rituals. At the same time, the museum aims to promote Flămânzi city on the tourist map.

7. Grigore Antipa House
The "Grigore Antipa" House in Botoșani is a place filled with history and memories related to the famous Romanian biologist Grigore Antipa. Located in the center of Botoșani city, the house was the residence of the Antipa family during the early years of his life and that of his brother.
The house is a historical monument, built in the French style at the beginning of the 19th century.
"The 'Grigore Antipa' house was erected in 1860. The building stands out with its eclectic style inspired by French design (with rococo reminiscences). The great biologist Grigore Antipa and his brother, the naturalist Nicolae Leon, were born here," is written on the visitbotosani.ro website.
