The owners have undertaken the unique initiative of showing what the life of the nobility in the area meant through objects recovered, donated, or purchased, from authentic weapons used in Kalnoky's battles with the Turks to spectacular stoves, reconstructions of period clothing, and even an original Streicher piano, the same model used by Johannes Brahms. The museum occupies the entire ground floor of the former hunting manor in Micloșoara.
