Romania, promoted in the heart of France, on the streets of Paris.
An international campaign promoting Romania was recently launched by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism. As a result, both the French and tourists visiting the city of love, Paris, during this period have the opportunity to learn more about the wonders of our country.
"The outdoor campaign aims to draw the attention of the French public to Romania as a tourist destination and to convey a powerful message, emphasizing our country's cultural and natural heritage," the authorities stated.
The initiative features over 100 outdoor billboards and 17 buses roaming the streets of Paris.
"The campaign is being rolled out in two phases:
▪️ The first phase, which ran from September 6th to 12th, showcased two representative images of our country on 103 large-scale billboards (8 sq. meters each), located at key points in central Paris.
▪️ The second phase, from September 13th to 26th, focused on wrapping 17 sightseeing buses used for touring key locations in the French capital," the Ministry of Tourism conveyed.
The timing was not chosen randomly, as a major event is taking place in the French capital.
"It's crucial to note that the campaign's timeline aligns with the start of the Rugby World Cup, the third-largest global sports event after the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games, which is being held in France this year.
Over 3 million tourists are expected at this event, and they will also encounter promotional messages promoting Romania as a tourist destination," further emphasized the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism (MEAT) statement.
